I am very sad to learn that the great German jazz pianist and composer Wolfgang Dauner just passed away on January 10, 2020 at the age of 84. I toured and recorded a few albums with him in Germany in the 60s, Eberhart Weber was the bassist in his band. I loved Wolfgang's compositions, his music was innovative and very original and we toured again together as a duo between 2006 and 2011. We lost a great artist !
