Le JLP Band est composé de: William Lecomte (claviers), Pierre François Dufour(batterie) et Guy Nsangué Akwa (basse electrique)
Pour la tournée de novembre 2009 aux Etats-Unis le JLP Band était composé de: William Lecomte (keyboards) - Baron Browne (el. bass) - Damien Schmitt (drums)
"Duo" indique que JLP joue en duo acoustique avec le pianiste allemand Wolfgang Dauner, avec qui JLP a souvent enregistré et tourné dans les années 60. Le programme est un mélange de leurs compositions.

"Je tiens à remercier personnellement tous ceux qui m'envoient des messages. C'est toujours avec grand plaisir que je reçois vos réactions et commentaires sur mes enregistrements et mes concerts.
"J'en profite également pour clarifier un sujet qui apparait dans la majorité de vos messages: 'à quand le prochain concert en France , ou dans ma région?'
"D'une part, il faut savoir que ce n'est pas l'artiste qui décide où il va se produire. Il peut seulement choisir parmi les offres. Or les offres provenant de France sont rares en ce qui me concerne. Je tiens à rendre cette situation publique car certains fans et journalistes français pensent que je snobe mon pays natal et que je préfère jouer à l'étranger, ce qui est faux. Ce n'est pas mon choix de jouer si rarement en France . Je vais tout simplement dans les pays qui m'invitent à venir jouer chez eux."
