I have seen you many times in concert. I have all the vinyl including the duke and Zappa stuff. Aurora is still my favorite although I usally listen to the anthology and rite of strings. I just want to say the concert with RTF this year was amazing. I will continue to come to your concerts as long as you chose to perform. You have been the biggist contributer to the soundtrack of my life. Forever your fan, PATO

  • Great RTF 4 compilation video

    BMB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiK0K3hscpI This, more than any other RTF4 video I've seen on youtube, really shows the talent and excitement that this band generates. The chemistry between the musicians is unbelievable, and they clearly are having a terrific time. Wow, what a great tour.

We really enjoyed your RTF show at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie. All I can say is wow! You guys really hit it out of the park. I hope that we can see you perform again in the near future. Are there any plans to bring the "Atlantic Years" tour/lineup to the US? I see that you are currently scheduled for a South American tour.

When you where in Detroit on august 19 i was at that concert and wondered how you do your sound like when you do double stops or what equpment do you use like amps, sound on stage (sound controll on stage),and how old were you when you got your blue 5 string violin (barcus berry) or where did you get it? I kind of know how to play Renaissance. Give me some tips on how to play like you. From Jazz Violinist David Lee Steele

Mr. Ponty: Thank you for letting me take your photo. I especially like the one with the smile. If you would like a copy of it, let me know via my email address. I loved your playing last night in CW with RTF. The piece you wrote was so "light", like a butterfly in flight. And especially when you communicated so well with Stanley and with Chick, using your instruments, your music. What beautiful music you created. Thank you again. Best, Jerrye Albert

I would like to thank Jean for doing the tour. And also for getting Zappa Plays Zappa to open, they were in top form and possessed an abundant creativity that was engaging and invigorating. Chick kept teasing Jean, that he was a Texan. On the first song, Jean's violin didn't come through (probably because Frank Gambale's guitar was too loud), but every other tune showcased his legendary talent and form on the electric violin. He did one Ponty tune, and called out 'Spain' by introducing it with 'Concierto de Aranjuez'-a fine tune. I was happy to see, after 16 years, that Jean hadn't lost his superlative gift and virtuoso form. Glad you could be here.

  • Emotions et plaisir !

    Jean-Christophe

    Bordeaux France
