  • When are you coming back to the states?

I am truly hoping that at some point in time that you will come back to Boston and Play. For over thirty (yes thirty )years I have been buying CD's and giving them to friends who are now asking WHEN you will be coming back here? Looking on a website a few years ago and saw you were going to be playing in Boston, only to find out the show had been cancelled. I was so bummed out. Have some mercy on your fans from Boston and please come back and play here.

Hi Jean Luc! I'm a big fan yours. Your last concert in Chile was amazing. I don't know if this is the right forum but i have a technical question for you. I see your main Barcus-Berry violin doesn't have the old original pickup because it is located inside the bridge. Would you tell me What pickup is it? I think your present sound is my ideal of an electro-acoustic violin, I love it! Regards from Chile, sorry for my english.

  • Hoping to see you again here in US soon

I attended a concert of Jean Luc in the late 70's or early 80's at the Oxnard Civic Center in Oxnard Ca, US. It was a very modest venue. However in the past 30+ years of concert going I have never experienced anything so moving. Since that time I have never been in the right place to attend another concert but it is a life goal. May I please be included in a mailing list of some kind to keep me updated as to the future concert dates. Thank you, Kate Shaw

Hi Jean Luc, I listen to your music daily but seem to be hooked on the "Live at Chene Park" album lately and was wondering about something. In "A Journey's End" are you playing keyboards along with Chris Rhyne during his incredible solo part? It seems like there is way too much piano happening for one set of hands. Also, have you considered bringing your own keyboards and effects pedals back for any of your upcoming concerts (particularly concerts with Jamie, Rayford, and Baron)? Thanks! Bob

Great to see JLP & John McLaughlin jam at the international jazz fest in Istanbul recently. An emotional moment for me to see these two maestros perform after 38 years. Looking forward to seeing JLP Live in Concert sometime soon, been over 5 years now.....Just have one question for Jean - Luc : Lotus Feet is a piece composed by John for Mahavishnu Orchestra in 1975.... were you aware of this piece already or did you know of this piece only now ?
