Today I have some electronic musics, would be a honor if you could listen them (kemantronik.k6.com.br). And now I discovery that you'll play here in Curitiba, my city. I'm very excited, and believe this will be the best show that I'll in my life.   • seltlist in Curitiba

    Hi Paulo: the setlist in Curitiba will be exclusively my music, pieces from albums recorded between the late 70s until 2007 re-arranged for symphony orchestra, with just my pianist William Lecomte and myself. It was a real musical revelation for me when we did it last April in Paris, I loved it so much that I am really looking forward to do it again in Brazil.

  • Setlist with orchestra

    My girlfriend and me are so enthusiastic about seeing Monsieur Ponty from very close in Curitiba. It makes us wonder if, what the Setlist - with an Orchestra- will be. Will it be JLP only, or include music from ROS? Anyway we do expect a wonderful Concert! and wait for a reply!

  • A genuine, long time overdue Thank You

    Dear Jean Luc Ponty, I've been a fan since the mid 1990's when my teenage sons exposed me to your music. I always have enjoyed your music, during good times and bad times. With my son I attended many concerts in the Los Angeles area. My favorite was at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Recently, on my iPad I bought "The Jean Luc Ponty Anthology" to listen to while exercising. Many songs brought back cherished memories. My personal favorites are "Rhythms of Hope" and "Cosmic Messenger". As I listen to this music, and realize that some of them are from 35 ears ago, I enjoy them as if listening to them for the first time. With genuine appreciation and a sincere thank you, Frank Wood

    Michael, a BIG thank you!!! Your link was perfect and I was able to buy my tickets easily... Regarding people coming from Recife: we do like the music of Jean Luc Ponty here in Brazil. I saw 2 shows in Brazil (1987 or so and ROS) and both were full...probably Curitiba will sell out :)

  • Mirage and Demagomania

    My job has a very long commute now, so I occupy the time with my JLP CD collection. Demagomania is a really cool composition...love the driving beat on it...makes me wish I had a drumset so I could try to play along. And Mirage-what an extraordinary composition...it rocks, it's funky, and it's calm and cool at the same time. As for the possibility of a US tour next year-wouldn't it be great to hear Imaginary Voyage Parts 3 and 4, just like the 1979 live album/CD?! Jamie's guitar solo on Part 4 was killer back then, and it would be great to hear him play it again.
