  • Hello Mr. Jean-Luc!!

Rio de Janeiro Rio de Janeiro Brazil

Hi JLP! This is the guy whose parents very humbly named after you! We met (again) in Rio last June 06th after the great show you played there along with your dear friends. I wrote to your producers (with the email I found on the website) and forwarded them what you asked me to. I just wanted to let you know I was very glad to have spoken with you again and to reiterate I really do appreciate your music and not only look forward to having the chance of watching you play live again but also, if that is possible, to shake hands again! I hope you and your team enjoyed your time in Brazil. P.S.: Do phone Frank to get me the missing picture and autograph! hahahahaha =D With kindest regards, Pedro Jean-Luc

  • Thanks for your comments on recent shows

    JEAN LUC

Thank you for your comments on recent shows in London and Brazil, I am touched and encouraged by your reactions ! and in answer to Markus from Germany.....the music with Jon Anderson will be a mix of his songs (including what he did with Yes) and mine, Jon will have the collaboration of guitarist/composer/producer Jamie Dunlap to arrange his music and also musicians who played in my American band from the 80s.

Judging by feedback from Ronnie's, Jean Luc was wonderful. On bucket list to experience rare ambiance of live show. Have to settle for T.T. Race week on Isle of Man...where foriegn guests and motorcycling fanatics are penalised and subject to day loight robbery.

Hi Jean luc and all the band, yesterday myself and my sons Ben, Joshua and Sammy came to see you play at Ronnie scots,London. Thankyou for a wonderful gig.....it was especially lovely to hear "Mirage' played live. The band is amazing ..the keys, the bass, the drums, so thankyou all for your musicianship and a wonderful evening......it was the first time I've heard you play live ,though I've been listening to your music since the 70's, I was sad today...I'd been looking forward to the gig for ages...but thats the sadness and beauty of music...its transitory...but it can inspire you permanently !!! lots of love to all of you and good luck for the tour, Ruya Sarfas

  • Jon Anderson/ The Kurt Edelhagen CD

    Markus

    Germany

Hi Jean Luc! Great to read about a forthcoming collaboration with Jon Anderson. Will it be a jazz-pop-songs fusion album? More electric again? Yesterday I bought the CD "JLP with Kurt Edelhagen and his orchestra". In the liner notes and on the cover is mentioned that the recording is from 1959!!! I cannot believe that. Your violin sound with sometimes lot of delays/reverbs is amazing on that record. Is it really from the late 50s??? from a fan (and violinist/composer, too )

Hi Terence.....you sure you were in the States for the past 10 years ? Since 2004 I toured in the U.S including the East Coast in 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007 - 2009 and 2011.....still I agree it's been too long, according to our plans next one should be next year... 2015. Stay tuned....!
