BMBI was able to obtain (through a workplace rewards program) a Yamaha YPT240 keyboard. While this is not a pro-level keyboard (i.e. nothing Allan Zavod or William Lecomte would probably use), it is fun...over 300 different sounds. I have been testing all of the sounds, and documenting which would sound good on particular JLP compositions for whenever I can put together a JLP tribute band :-) In particular, I have had a lot of fun with various sounds for "Don't Let The World Pass You By"-both the introduction and the 16th-note parts. Now I just need to find a good location in our house for this...Jun 17, 2014 1:52pm

Fathers and Daughters video
Sunderland MA USAThanks so much for sharing your philosophy of bringing up your daughters (I have 2 myself, 26 and 14) in the 'empowerment' video BMB shared with me. I feel like I've been "At Home with The Pontys" (would have been interested to hear your wife's input on the subject as well). What pride you must feel in your lovely and accomplished girls. Wonderful to see how they speak of you, great respect and affection that doesn't surprise me! I'd love to see more of it sometime, the challenges involved in raising children when you're touring, etc. Maybe there'll be some outtakes available sometime. Thanks again.Jun 11, 2014 3:46pm
Thank you for the authograph!!!
S. Paulo BrazilMoseigneur Ponty, It was such a great experience to watch the beautiful show you did in S. Paulo, one year after I had a major surgery. It was a gift! My girlfriend Kelly and me want to thank you for the autograph you sent to us also, it was another gift. And I was so happy that you could remember that I was the person who posted here about how fantastic it was to see one more show, after I was in such a difficult position. Mercy beaucoup Monseigneur Ponty for all incredible moments that you provide to us, with your incredible music! PauloJun 11, 2014 3:15pm
Hello Mr. Jean-Luc!!
Rio de Janeiro Rio de Janeiro BrazilHi JLP! This is the guy whose parents very humbly named after you! We met (again) in Rio last June 06th after the great show you played there along with your dear friends. I wrote to your producers (with the email I found on the website) and forwarded them what you asked me to. I just wanted to let you know I was very glad to have spoken with you again and to reiterate I really do appreciate your music and not only look forward to having the chance of watching you play live again but also, if that is possible, to shake hands again! I hope you and your team enjoyed your time in Brazil. P.S.: Do phone Frank to get me the missing picture and autograph! hahahahaha =D With kindest regards, Pedro Jean-LucJun 11, 2014 1:36am
Thanks for your comments on recent shows
Thank you for your comments on recent shows in London and Brazil, I am touched and encouraged by your reactions ! and in answer to Markus from Germany.....the music with Jon Anderson will be a mix of his songs (including what he did with Yes) and mine, Jon will have the collaboration of guitarist/composer/producer Jamie Dunlap to arrange his music and also musicians who played in my American band from the 80s.Jun 10, 2014 2:10am
