It's great to see how many JLP fans want to see him in concert again. Nobody mentions "new CD"; they just want to see/hear JLP again. Here's hoping that a US tour can happen in 2013.

I've become a huge fan in the last couple of years since I "discovered" you. I've many of your solo albums, your Mahavishnu albums, RTF albums etc, and very much enjoy your playing and music. Saw you in Mothership Returns DVD, you look great! I hope that you are well and happy.
Sincere best wishes,

If someone ever asked me 'What is the greatest thing ever created?' I would reply 'Music'. Think about it. It's available anywhere in the world, rich or poor lands, people all over love music, playing music, singing or anything rrelated to music. It makes us instantly happy where we hear a certain song or vocals. It can recall great memories or special times or people from our past. I feel it is more important than any damn technical gadget ever created. I first heard your music when I was about 8. A friends older brother was in the band and had a cassette. Think about that, an 8 year old jamming to jazz (Immaganary Voyage) - so not the norm. I've seen you twice here in Detroit and really look forward to your next visit. Thank you for creating the music, the memories, and the great moments. Your friend, Brian

Hi
Terence Dantzler
Marshall VA United States
The thing is that every 5 years there is a North American tour. I know my favorite is a world wide sensation.Sorry if I am selfish. Wish u could be here every year. Ok I understand the rest of the world loves u also. Pls try to get the info for the east coast dates out so I can put in a leave slip in to get the day off.I had my hip replaced in August, there is a disk in my neck that needs to be operated on . Don't think u will be on the east coast before Dec 13 2012. Being as u r in Europe now. I should have my neck done before u get to the east coast of the United States.Take Care.

MN Tour?
Ima B. Musing
Lauderdale MN USA
I've had the privilege of hearing you perform several times, always awesome. I hope that you will add a show in Minnesota (St. Paul or Minneapolis) soon. You are the genuine original jazz-fusion violinist who doesn't need to gad about the stage in an odd outfit with strange dance moves to accompany your fabulous compositions. (She's good but not great like you.) Best wishes, Ima

Jean Luc-a few years back, I seem to remember that you discussed looking into some collaborations as new projects. These last few years have been terrific for that-RTF4, the symphonies, and the big band. Each has had challenges and rewards for you, and that is great!! And being able to tour with the Atlantic Years band has been wonderful as well. No matter what your artistic endeavor is, the results are wonderful. Each setting has produced musical works of art, each stunning in its own way. I hope the rewards outweigh the work, because we enjoy every bit of it. Here's hoping that we'll see you in the U.S. in 2013. Thanks again for the wonderful music. By the way, my son and I were traveling in a beautiful part of our country this past weekend, and Life Enigma and Storytelling were the CDs that set the perfect tone with the beautiful mountain scenery.
